Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 14, 2026 · thinktwicestudios.com
This disclosure is required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and is consistent with Canada's Competition Bureau guidelines on influencer and affiliate marketing transparency. We believe in being upfront about how this site makes money.
Think Twice Studios is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon.ca Associates Program — affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.
Amazon affiliate links on this site use the following tracking IDs:
| Store | Tracking ID | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon.ca | thinktwice0f-20 | Canada |
| Amazon.com | thinktwice032-20 | United States + international via OneLink |
Amazon's OneLink technology may automatically redirect international visitors to their local Amazon store. Commissions from international purchases are credited to the applicable regional account.
Amazon sets its own cookie duration (currently 24 hours for standard purchases, 90 days for items added to cart). We have no control over Amazon's cookie or attribution policies.
We may participate in additional affiliate programs as the site grows. Current and planned programs:
| Program | Relevance | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Associates (CA/US) | Van parts, tools, gear | Active |
| CARFAX Canada | Pre-purchase vehicle history reports — directly relevant to the van buying guide | Pending application |
This page will be updated as new programs are added. If you have questions about a specific link, contact us.
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. Ad revenue is separate from affiliate commissions. See our Privacy Policy for details on how Google uses your data and how to opt out of personalized advertising.
Affiliate relationships do not influence what we recommend or how we cover products. Specifically:
- We do not accept payment for positive reviews or coverage
- We do not link to products we would not consider for our own build
- Negative opinions about products remain in the content regardless of whether an affiliate link exists
- We include products we use personally, products we researched for our own build, and products that are widely used and well-regarded in the conversion community — we distinguish between these in the content where it matters
- We do not compare prices as final — Amazon prices change constantly and we are not responsible for price inaccuracies
The BuildaVan content series documents a real build with real decisions. The goal is accurate documentation, not affiliate revenue optimization. The two should align — but if they conflict, the documentation wins.
This disclosure satisfies the FTC's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Affiliate links within content pages are also labeled inline. If you see a product link and are unsure whether it is an affiliate link, assume that it is.
